I spent much of last week with the scouts in our ward at Heron Lake state park. I didn't think there were any bodies of water of substantial size in NM (yeah, yeah, I know about Elephant Butte, but who wants to go camp in the middle of the deseret?), but I guess I was wrong. The place was actually pretty nice.
